Festa di San Rocco

Sino a qualche anno fa, la festa veniva celebrata la seconda domenica di settembre e chiudeva le varie feste del paese. Attualmente si è voluto riportare la festa nel giorno stesso in cui la liturgia fa memoria di San Rocco e far festa con tante persone che vivono fuori paese e tornano qui per le vacanze estive.

This feast is celebrated on 16th of August in a hamlet in Bomba called Vallecupa. Some years ago, the feast was celebrated on the 2nd Sunday of September and it was the last annual feast in the village. Nowadays this feast is celebrated on the same day that the liturgy remembers St. Rocco (16th of August) as at this time, in the middle of the holiday period, many villagers that now live abroad are able to revisit this hamlet.
